Details

A Winter of Flavours & Folklore in Meghalaya is a carefully curated experience that takes you beyond the state's famous waterfalls and into the heart of its culture, communities, food, and landscapes. Over seven days, you'll journey through the Khasi Hills, exploring hidden waterfalls, ancient cave systems, living root bridges, crystal-clear rivers, and some of Meghalaya's most beautiful offbeat locations. But this journey is about much more than nature. You'll share meals with local families, experience traditional Khasi music and dance, learn about age-old customs, and connect with communities that continue to preserve their heritage and way of life. From forest lunches and village interactions to bonfires, cultural evenings, and meaningful conversations, every experience has been designed to help you discover a deeper side of Meghalaya. Adventure is an equally important part of the journey. Trek across the famous Mawryngkhang Bamboo Trail, explore the underground world of Krem Chympe Cave, swim beneath hidden waterfalls, and experience the crystal-clear waters of the Umngot River through a range of adventure activities. This is not a fast-paced sightseeing tour. It is a journey that encourages you to slow down, connect with people, embrace local experiences, and experience Meghalaya through its flavours, folklore, and stories.
