Fair, transparent refund terms for when your travel plans change
At Northeast Travel Experts, we understand that travel plans can change. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair while considering the advance arrangements made for accommodations, transportation, permits, and local services.
The refund amount will be calculated based on the date we receive your written cancellation request.
Timelines are measured against the tour start date.
All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email. The cancellation date will be considered the date on which we receive your request.
Eligible refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days after the cancellation has been confirmed. The refund will be made using the original payment method, wherever possible.
Any applicable government permit fees, GST, payment gateway charges, or third-party cancellation charges may be deducted from the refundable amount, where applicable.
In the rare event that we need to cancel a trip due to unforeseen circumstances such as natural disasters, government restrictions, road closures, or situations beyond our control, we will offer an alternative departure, travel credit, or refund, depending on the circumstances.
