Day-wise Itinerary

Upon arrival at the Bagdogra Airport/NJP Railway Station, board a cab and reach our meeting point (Cosmos, Siliguri) and transfer to Gangtok. Don't forget to capture the picturesque views of the mighty Teesta River on the way.Upon reaching Gangtok, check in to the hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure. In the evening, you can visit the MG Marg of Gangtok where you can collect souvenirs and treat your taste buds with authentic Sikkimese cuisine.

Wake up to a delicious breakfast before beginning your journey to the picturesque town of Lachen, nestled at an altitude of 9,500 feet. As you travel, soak in breathtaking views of snow-capped peaks and lush alpine meadows. Along the way, marvel at the cascading beauty of the Seven Sister Waterfalls and Naga Waterfalls. Upon arrival in Lachen, check in to your hotel or homestay and unwind with a delightful dinner, preparing for the adventures ahead.

After breakfast, bid farewell to Lachen and set off on a scenic drive to Gurudongmar Lake, one of the highest lakes in the world, named after Guru Padmasambhava. En route, visit the breathtaking Thangu Valley and, if possible, explore Kalapathar (additional charges apply). Upon reaching Lachung, check into your hotel and unwind, taking some time to relax after the journey.

Wake up to the peaceful sound of yak bells and enjoy an early breakfast before heading out for an exciting excursion to Yumthang Valley, the Valley of Flowers in Sikkim. Admire the vibrant primulas, rhododendrons, and a stunning array of alpine flowers. Relax in the natural hot springs, known for their therapeutic properties, before continuing to Zero Point, a breathtaking spot at 16,000 feet where the world feels closer to the sky. After an unforgettable day, return to Gangtok and unwind.

After breakfast, embark on a full-day excursion exploring Gangtok's breathtaking surroundings. Begin with a visit to the glacial Tsomgo Lake, renowned for its ever-changing colors and scenic beauty. Continue to Baba Mandir, a revered shrine dedicated to Baba Harbhajan Singh, followed by Nathula Pass, the Indo-China border post (closed on Mondays, extra charges apply). Next, visit the Old Baba Mandir, steeped in history and tranquility, before heading to Nathang Valley, known for its picturesque landscapes. Explore the serene Kupup Lake and then proceed to Thambi View Point, offering stunning panoramic vistas of the Silk Route. After an eventful day, return to Gangtok for an overnight stay.

Day 5 activity 1

After having a hearty breakfast, check out from the hotel and then board your vehicle to reach NJP Station/Bagdogra Airport (IXB).Your tour concludes once you are dropped at the airport/ railway station for your onwards journey. It’s now time to head back home with a plethora of good memories.

  • Entry Fees: Entry fees or tickets to historical monuments landmarks, or sightseeing attractions are not included in the package and must be paid separately
  • Airport/Rail Transport: Transportation to Bagdogra before the trip and from Bagdogra after the trip is not included in the package
  • Unforeseen Costs: Any costs arising from natural calamities or changes in Bhutan-India travel and trade policies are not covered.

Things to Know

  • Govt. Approved Photo ID proof is mandatory for each individual guest at the time of booking (to acquire necessary permits), and also upon arrival PAN card and Aadhaar card will not be considered as a valid address proof
  • Mt. Katao can be added at an extra cost of INR 3000/- to INR 3500/- vehicle per spot, if the permit allows, Visiting these spots are subject to availability of permits that are mandatory for Indian tourists.
  • During season time the vehicle may get delayed during pickup/ drop due to heavy traffic, bad weather, political/social disturbances, roadblocks, VVIP movements & state transport rule prohibition. Customer discretion is advised.
  • It is advised that the travellers do not consume alcohol or any other intoxicants during the tour as it may cause respiratory problems or dehydration at high altitudes which can lead to serious health conditions and can be fatal as there are limited medical facilities in remote locations.
  • The entire tour passes through eco-friendly zones and littering is prohibited. Any traveller found guilty might have to face strict charges by the local law enforcing authorities
